How do you perform a leak test?
- Unscrew the oil filler cap and fill 10 ml of baby oil into the detector for the first time.
- Connect the car battery and turn on the air pump and smoke generator.
- Connect the smoke hose to the pipe to be tested using the adapter.
- Within about 10 seconds you can identify the leaks by the smoke development.

Important information on use
- When using for the first time, fill with 20 ml of oil (do not exceed).
- Both liquid paraffin and baby oil are suitable as test fluids.
- Add fresh oil when the smoke becomes thin, but not more than 20 ml.
- Drain any remaining oil before refilling and replace it regularly.
- Avoid smoke-sensitive parts while locating leaks.
- Do not let the detector run continuously for more than 8 minutes.
- The device has intelligent protection and switches off automatically if it overheats (over 80°C).
- Be careful with the round part of the detector as it gets hot.
- If the test tube needs to be disconnected, secure the other side with a rubber stopper.
