The AUTOOL SDT205 is a professional automotive leak detection tool that quickly and accurately locates leaks in car and motorcycle piping systems. How is the leak test performed?
- Fill 20ml of baby oil into the detector.
- Open the hood and hang up the detector.
- Disconnect the pipe that needs to be checked and connect it to the detector.
- Connect the detector to the DC12V battery and turn it on.
- Within 30 seconds the pipe will be filled with smoke. Check for leaks.

precautionary measures
- Do not fill more than 20ml of oil into the detector.
- Use liquid paraffin or baby oil as a test liquid.
- Pour out any remaining oil before refilling and replace the oil regularly.
- Avoid proximity to smoke-sensitive parts during the test.
- The detector should not be operated for longer than 8 minutes at a time.
- The detector will automatically shut off if it overheats to prevent damage. Allow it to cool before using it again.
- Be careful of the hot, round part of the detector to avoid burns.
- If the pipe ends need to be separated during testing, secure them with rubber stoppers.
