Look up hardware features in the picture :
A. OBD II Cable - provides communication for the vehicle DLC.
B. LCD display - shows menus, test results and operating tips.
C. Green LED indicator - indicates that the engine system is operating normally, all monitors on the vehicle are active and running their diagnostic tests) and no DTCs have been found.
D. Yellow LED indicator - indicates that the tool has found a possible problem. There are pending DTCs or/and some of the vehicle's emissions monitors have not performed their diagnostic tests.
E. Red LED indicator - indicates that there are problems in one or more systems of the vehicle. In this case, the MIL lamp on the instrument panel lights up.
F. UP button - quick access to the Read Codes function before entering the diagnostic menu and moves the selection up. When looking up DTCs, it is used to change the value of the selected character.
G. DOWN button - Quick access to the Clear Codes function before entering the diagnostic menu and moves the selection down. When looking up DTCs, this button changes the value of the selected character.
