Autel MaxiBAS BT506 – battery and charging system test for independent workshops

The Autel MaxiBAS BT506 is a system for analysing batteries and electrical systems. Using adaptive conductance – an advanced battery analysis method – it examines the cold start capability and the reserve capacity of the battery precisely; both values are decisive for determining the actual condition of a battery. Instead of replacing a battery on suspicion, the BT506 delivers a reliable result for the customer within seconds.

Standalone on a smartphone or as a supplement to the diagnostic tablet

The BT506 can be used in two ways: standalone with Apple and Android smartphones via the free app, or as an accessory for the diagnostic systems of the MaxiDAS and MaxiSys series. That is how you check the condition of the vehicle battery and the electrical system in a simple and affordable way – in everyday workshop use just as much as in mobile operation. The battery clamps are permanently attached to the tester, and the connection to the smartphone or tablet runs via Bluetooth.

Test scope

  • Testing of car batteries in the vehicle and outside the vehicle
  • Testing of 6 and 12 volt batteries in the range from 100 to 2000 CCA
  • Testing of 12 and 24 volt starting and charging systems
  • Suitable for lead-acid, AGM, spiral AGM, EFB and GEL batteries
  • Compatible with the standards CCA, CA, SAE, EN, IEC, DIN, JIS and MCA

BT506, BT608 or BT609?

The BT506 is the compact entry point into the Autel MaxiBAS range: it works without a display of its own and is operated via the smartphone app or an Autel diagnostic tablet. The larger models MaxiBAS BT608 and MaxiBAS BT609 are standalone testers with their own touch display and additional diagnostic functions. Anyone who already has a MaxiSys or MaxiDAS tablet in the business, or who wants to work with a smartphone, is considerably better off with the BT506 in terms of price.

Shipping and payment terms

FREE SHIPPING WITHIN THE EU ON ORDERS OVER €100!!

Goods are regularly delivered by shipping to the delivery address provided by the customer. The delivery address provided by the customer during the ordering process is decisive for the transaction. Deviating from this, if PayPal is selected as the payment method, the delivery address stored by the customer with PayPal at the time of payment is decisive.

If delivery to the customer was not possible and the shipping company returns the shipped goods to the seller, the customer bears the costs for the unsuccessful shipment. This does not apply if the customer exercises their right of withdrawal by refusing acceptance, if they are not responsible for the circumstance that led to the impossibility of delivery, or if they were temporarily prevented from accepting, unless the seller announced the service to them a reasonable time in advance.

You can choose to pay by bank transfer (prepayment), PayPal (direct debit and credit card via PayPal), Klarna (purchase on account or installment payment), Shop Pay, Google Pay or cash on delivery. If cash on delivery is selected as the payment method, an additional fee of €9.99 will be charged.

Free shipping within Germany for orders over €50.

Shipping costs within the EU are €14.99. For orders over €100, shipping within the entire EU is free.

The delivery time within Germany is usually 1–3 business days.

Worldwide shipping – to countries outside the EU – is also available. The applicable shipping costs are calculated and displayed during checkout depending on the destination country. For deliveries to countries outside the EU, additional customs duties, import taxes or other charges may apply, which are to be borne by the customer.

Digital licences and unlocks

Update licences, Secure Gateway unlocks and HaynesPro access are digital content. No shipping costs apply – you receive the activation code by email once payment has been received, usually within 1–3 working days.

If the licence is tied to a device, enter your device serial number directly in the order form when purchasing. That way we can set up the activation for your device without having to ask.

Please note: with digital licences the right of withdrawal lapses as soon as we have begun supplying them and you have expressly agreed to this beforehand. For devices and all other goods the statutory right of withdrawal applies unchanged.

Frequently asked questions
