Description
Original VAG Actia 4401202/B USB Module for VAS 6154A
- ✔ Original Fischer USB module with 7-pin connector
- ✔ Connects the VAS 6154A diagnostic interface to the workshop computer
- ✔ USB-Mini Type B, shielded against electromagnetic interference
- ✔ Robust plug connection for frequent plugging and unplugging
- ✔ New product, for professional workshop use
The Actia 4401202/B USB module establishes the connection between the VAS 6154A diagnostic interface and the computer. It transmits fault memory, measured value blocks, and coding data between the vehicle and the diagnostic software.
It is used wherever ODIS or comparable workshop systems are used to work on vehicles of the VAG group – in brand workshops, independent workshops with a VAG focus, and on test benches.
Why the connection is crucial
When programming and updating control units, new software is transferred to the vehicle. If the connection breaks during this process, the control unit can be damaged. The shielded data line and the stable connector are therefore not an accessory detail, but the reason for the price difference compared to simple USB cables.
Also important for live data
When reading sensor values, temperatures, pressures, and speeds in real time, data flows continuously. Interruptions in transmission lead to gaps in the measurement series and thus to misinterpretations in diagnosis.
