Autel EVDiag Box – the EV extension for your MaxiSys diagnostic system
With the Autel EV Upgrade Kit, independent workshops extend their existing MaxiSys diagnostic system with electric vehicle diagnostics. The heart of the kit is the EVDiag Box: together with the supplied adapters, it establishes the connection to the battery management system (BMS) of certain electric vehicles and thus enables the analysis of the high-voltage battery – including determination of the state of health (SOH). This makes the condition of an EV’s most expensive component measurable: a valuable basis for purchase inspections, customer consultations and the assessment of used vehicles in everyday commercial workshop life.
How the EVDiag Box works
The EVDiag Box is connected to the vehicle’s battery management system via the main cable and the matching vehicle-specific adapter; communication with the diagnostic tablet runs via the MaxiFlash VCI or VCMI of the respective MaxiSys system. Easily readable status LEDs on the front of the device show the most important operating states at a glance: HV, ACC/ON, BAT+, Run and Power. In addition to the BMS port, the box has an OBD2 port and a 12 V power supply input.
Compatibility: MaxiSys MS Ultra, MS919 and MS909
The EVDiag Box is compatible with the Autel diagnostic tablets MaxiSys MS Ultra, MaxiSys MS919 and MaxiSys MS909. Please note: the diagnostic tablet and the MaxiFlash VCI/VCMI are not included in the scope of delivery – the EV Upgrade Kit is the extension for an already existing system.
Adapter set for certain electric vehicles
The kit includes ten vehicle-specific adapters, a DB25 distribution cable (snake cable) and 24 breakout leads in four designs including extensions and dual banana plugs. All components are neatly organized in the supplied carrying case and quickly at hand.
Important note on vehicle coverage: The included adapters fit certain electric vehicles. Which vehicles and functions are specifically supported always depends on the manufacturer, model, model year and battery management system and does not constitute a guaranteed product characteristic. Current compatibility lists can be requested from the manufacturer Autel.
