Many trucks, buses and commercial vehicles do not have a standardised 16-pin OBD port but manufacturer-specific diagnostic sockets. The Thinkcar HD Connector Kit closes this gap: it extends compatible THINKCAR and THINKTOOL HD diagnostic systems with 13 vehicle-specific adapter cables – for independent workshops, fleet operators and commercial vehicle specialists.

All 13 adapters at a glance

The set contains adapters for Type II OBD-9, CAT-9, BENZ-14, IVECO-38, MAN-37, OBD-6, OBD-16, IVECO-30, MAN-12, RENAULT-12, ISUZU-3, VOLVO-8, ISUZU-20. This gives you access to the common diagnostic sockets of the major commercial vehicle manufacturers without having to source individual cables.

Important note on vehicle coverage

The connector kit provides the electrical connection to the diagnostic socket. Which vehicles and functions can actually be diagnosed depends on your THINKCAR HD diagnostic tool, its software and on manufacturer, model, model year and control unit. The kit itself does not contain any diagnostic software.

Delivery

Delivery is made to the delivery address provided by the customer during the ordering process. By way of exception, where PayPal is selected as the payment method, the delivery address stored with PayPal at the time of payment is decisive.

If delivery to the customer was not possible and the transport company returns the goods to the seller, the customer bears the costs of the unsuccessful delivery. This does not apply where the customer exercises their right of withdrawal by refusing acceptance, where they are not responsible for the circumstance that made delivery impossible, or where they were temporarily prevented from accepting the goods – unless the seller had given them reasonable advance notice of the delivery.

Digital licences and activations

Update licences, secure gateway activations and HaynesPro access are digital goods. No shipping costs apply – you will receive the activation code by email once payment has been received, usually within 1–3 working days.

If the licence is tied to a device, enter your device’s serial number directly in the order form when purchasing. That way we can set up the activation for your device without further enquiries.

Please note: for digital licences the right of withdrawal expires as soon as we have begun providing the item and you have expressly agreed to this beforehand. For devices and all other goods, the statutory right of withdrawal applies unchanged.
