Mercedes 38Pin OBD1 Diagnostic Cable for SD Connect C4
- ✔ Robust workshop quality for daily diagnostic use
- ✔ Secure signal transmission for stable vehicle communication
- ✔ Precisely fitting 38Pin connector for older Mercedes-Benz models

- ✔ Designed for professional use with SD Connect C4
This Mercedes diagnostic cable reliably connects vehicles with a 38Pin OBD1 diagnostic interface to the SD Connect C4 Star Diagnosis. The adapter cable is ideal for workshops, diagnostic technicians, and professional users who want to diagnose older Mercedes-Benz series or replace existing cables.
This item is an adapter or connecting cable and not a diagnostic device or scanner.
Compatible with Mercedes Star Diagnosis SD Connect C4
The connecting cable was specifically developed for use with Mercedes-Benz SD Connect C4. Systems based on Xentry are supported, as well as applications such as DAS, WIS/ASRA, and EPC.
Important: Actual usage is model-dependent, vehicle-dependent, and control unit-dependent. Before purchasing, it should be checked whether the vehicle has the round 38Pin OBD1 connector.
Why high-quality diagnostic cables are crucial
Especially with older diagnostic systems, stable signal transmission is crucial. Inferior OBD adapters or poorly manufactured diagnostic cables can cause communication breakdowns, contact problems, or unstable data transmission.
This workshop cable features precisely manufactured plug contacts and clean shielding to reduce electrical interference. This keeps the connection between the vehicle and the diagnostic system stable even during longer diagnostic work.
Designed for professional diagnostic environments
The adapter cable is designed for daily workshop use. The robust construction supports durable use with frequent plugging and unplugging in everyday diagnostic work.
Especially with older Mercedes-Benz series with K-line or manufacturer-specific diagnostic protocols, the quality of the connection plays an important role. A stable physical connection is a prerequisite for reliable communication processes between the vehicle and the multiplexer.
Suitable Mercedes-Benz series with 38Pin OBD1
This diagnostic cable is suitable for many older Mercedes-Benz models with a 38Pin diagnostic connector in the engine compartment, among others.
- Mercedes-Benz W202
- Mercedes-Benz W210
- Mercedes-Benz W140
- Mercedes-Benz R129
Note: Newer vehicles with a standardized 16-pin OBD2 connector do not require this 38Pin adapter cable.
Reliable connection for diagnostic work
The cable establishes the physical connection between the vehicle and the SD Connect C4. It supports secure data transmission during diagnostic work, control unit communication, and typical workshop test processes.
High-quality shielding and stable connectors help to avoid signal loss and connection interruptions. Especially in professional use, this reduces unnecessary diagnostic breakdowns and increases operational safety.
Ideal as a replacement cable or additional workshop solution
In workshop operations, an additional connecting cable is often recommended as a spare. Worn or damaged cables can impair vehicle communication and lead to unnecessary interruptions.
This OBD1 connecting cable offers a reliable solution for professional diagnostic environments with Mercedes-Benz Star Diagnosis systems.
