Description
Mercedes SD Connect C4 OBD2 Diagnostic Cable for Stable Vehicle Diagnostics
- ✔ Robust workshop quality for daily diagnostic use
- ✔ Clean signal transmission between vehicle and SD Connect C4
- ✔ Precisely manufactured OBD2 connectors for secure contact
- ✔ High-quality shielding against interference in workshop operation
- ✔ Developed for professional Mercedes-Benz diagnostic environments
This Mercedes SD Connect C4 OBD2 diagnostic cable connects the vehicle's 16-pin OBD2 interface to the SD Connect C4 multiplexer. It serves as a reliable connection cable for workshops, diagnostic centers, and technicians who rely on stable communication links.
This item is an adapter or connection cable and not a diagnostic device or scanner.
Compatibility and Application
The adapter cable was developed for use with Mercedes-Benz SD Connect C4 diagnostic units. The connection is made via the standardized 16-pin OBD2 interface.
Compatibility is model and system dependent. The connection cable is suitable for diagnostic environments with Xentry, DAS, and other common Mercedes-Benz workshop diagnostic systems.
- Mercedes-Benz SD Connect C4
- OBD2 16-pin vehicle connection
- Workshop and diagnostic systems with Xentry environment
- Use as a replacement cable or additional workshop cable
Why high-quality diagnostic cables are crucial
Stable signal transmission is essential for diagnostic work. Inferior OBD adapters or poorly manufactured diagnostic cables can cause communication breakdowns, leading to faulty diagnostic sessions or interrupted ECU access.
Especially with CAN bus communication, K-Line signals, or longer diagnostic processes, the quality of the connectors plays a central role.
Clean signal transmission in daily workshop use
The diagnostic cable ensures a reliable connection between the vehicle and the diagnostic hardware. Precise contact pins support stable data communication even with frequent plugging and unplugging.
Especially with sensitive control units, a poor connection can lead to communication errors. High-quality contacts minimize contact resistance and improve connection security.
Shielding against electrical interference
Workshop environments contain numerous electrical consumers and sources of interference. Clean shielding of the connection cable reduces electromagnetic influences and supports constant data transmission.
This ensures that communication between the OBD2 port and the SD Connect C4 remains stable even during longer diagnostic procedures.
Robust construction for professional diagnostic work
The OBD2 adapter cable was designed for regular workshop use. Resistant plug housings and durable cables increase the service life with daily use.
Stable plug connections
The precisely fitting OBD2 connectors ensure a secure hold during diagnosis. Mechanically precisely manufactured connectors reduce loose connections and improve signal stability.
Suitable for diagnostic and coding environments
The connection cable is suitable for professional diagnostic environments where a stable physical connection is required.
The cable itself does not perform any diagnostic functions. The available functions depend on the diagnostic device used, the software, and the respective vehicle control unit.
Typical applications of the Mercedes OBD2 connection cable
- Workshop diagnostics on Mercedes-Benz vehicles
- Connection between SD Connect C4 and OBD2 vehicle port
- Replacement for damaged diagnostic cables
- Additional workshop cable for diagnostic stations
- Professional diagnostic and communication environments
Important note on compatibility
Compatibility is vehicle-dependent, system-dependent, and ECU-dependent. Before purchasing, it should be checked whether the diagnostic system used is compatible with the existing vehicle connection.
This product serves exclusively as a physical connection cable between the vehicle and diagnostic hardware.
