J2534 pass-thru: ECU programming and coding

The included MaxiFlash VCI connects the tablet to the vehicle via Bluetooth and at the same time works as an SAE J2534-1 and J2534-2 compliant pass-thru programming device for ECU programming. This allows control units to be reprogrammed and coded – for example after an ECU replacement or to install updated software. Which programming and coding functions are actually available always depends on the respective vehicle manufacturer, model and control unit.

Full-system diagnostics with active tests

Reading and clearing fault codes, analysing live data, coding and adapting control units – the Elite II Pro masters the complete repertoire of a professional OE-level diagnostic tool. Via bidirectional control, components can be actuated directly for active tests, while AutoVIN identifies the vehicle automatically via its VIN (where supported by the vehicle). With DoIP and CAN FD the device is also ready for current vehicle generations; the D-PDU and RP1210 standards are supported as well.

Updates and languages

The international version comes with 2 years of software updates included. After the update period expires, the device remains fully functional. The menu interface is multilingual (incl. German and English); individual parts of the diagnostic software may be incompletely translated and will then appear in English.
