The OBD2 connector housing is a housing or connector part in the standard 16-pin OBD2 format. It is used to assemble your own diagnostic leads and adapters, or to replace a damaged connector housing on an existing lead.
This item is an adapter or connecting cable, not a diagnostic device or scanner. The actual diagnostic function depends on the diagnostic device used and the scope of its software.
What this item is – and what it is not
This is a housing or connector part without a cable. A lead, a finished adapter cable or a diagnostic device are not part of this item. The item is aimed at users who want to build or repair a lead themselves.
Note on the build quality
Assembling a diagnostic connector requires specialist knowledge. The pin assignment should be checked and documented before assembly so that the later connection works cleanly.
