Das OBD2 Steckergehäuse ist ein Gehäuse- bzw. Steckerteil im genormten 16-poligen OBD2-Format. Es dient dazu, eigene Diagnoseleitungen und Adapter selbst zu konfektionieren oder ein beschädigtes Steckergehäuse an einer vorhandenen Leitung zu ersetzen.

Dieser Artikel ist ein Adapter bzw. Verbindungskabel und kein Diagnosegerät oder Scanner. Die eigentliche Diagnosefunktion hängt vom verwendeten Diagnosegerät und dessen Softwareumfang ab.

Was dieser Artikel ist – und was nicht

Es handelt sich um ein Gehäuse- bzw. Steckerteil ohne Kabel. Eine Leitung, ein fertiges Adapterkabel oder ein Diagnosegerät sind nicht Bestandteil dieses Artikels. Der Artikel richtet sich an Anwender, die eine Leitung selbst aufbauen oder instand setzen möchten.
