VCMI2: six tools in one interface
The VCMI2 is diagnostic interface and measuring lab in one: a 4-channel oscilloscope with 20 MHz bandwidth, an 80 MS/s sampling rate and 32 MB of buffer memory for complex signals, plus multimeter, waveform generator with signal output and CAN bus testing. Guided tests, connection diagrams, a waveform library and reference waveforms help you interpret readings and narrow down the root cause. You do not need a separate oscilloscope.
Programming via J2534, D-PDU and RP1210
The Ultra S2 supports the SAE J2534-1 and J2534-2 programming standards as well as the OEM PassThru standards J2534, D-PDU and RP1210. This makes online programming and coding at BMW, online coding (SCN) at Mercedes-Benz and online backup of current codings at Audi possible. It is compatible with Toyota Techstream, Volvo VIDA and Honda HDS among others and handles modern protocols such as DoIP, CAN-FD and Mega-CAN.
