Description
AUTOOL CT160 injector tester for precise cleaning and diagnostics
- ✔ Professional ultrasonic cleaning for petrol and motorcycle injectors
- ✔ Precise testing of spray pattern, flow rate and leak tightness
- ✔ Rugged workshop quality for daily diagnostic use
- ✔ Clear operation for fast test routines in everyday workshop work
- ✔ Suitable for numerous electronic injection systems
The AUTOOL CT160 injector tester was developed for professional workshops, automotive businesses and technically demanding users. The system combines ultrasonic cleaning and diagnostic functions in one compact unit and allows modern injectors to be tested precisely.
Dirty injectors can lead to a loss of performance, increased fuel consumption or rough engine running. With the AUTOOL CT160, deposits can be removed effectively and important test values analysed reliably.
Precise analysis of modern injection systems
The unit allows several important parameters of modern injection systems to be checked. These include spray pattern, flow rate, leak tightness and the electrical testing of the injectors.
With modern engines in particular, even fuel atomisation plays an important role for performance, consumption and emission values. Even small deposits can have a negative effect on injection behaviour.
- Testing the spray pattern of individual nozzles
- Comparing the flow rates of several injectors
- Leak test under load
- Electrical resistance measurement of the injector coils
Effective ultrasonic cleaning for injectors
The integrated ultrasonic cleaning removes even fine residues from sensitive nozzle channels. High-frequency sound waves create microscopic cavitation that gently loosens deposits.
This means areas that are hard to reach can also be cleaned without mechanically damaging sensitive components. Ultrasonic technology delivers thorough cleaning results especially on gummed-up or heavily soiled injectors.
Developed for workshop and diagnostic operations
The AUTOOL CT160 injector tester is suitable for professional use in workshops and diagnostic businesses. The sturdy construction and the clear controls make daily use during maintenance and diagnostic work easier.
The integrated pressure monitoring and safety shut-off additionally protect the unit during operation.
- Sturdy metal construction for workshop loads
- Clearly laid out user interface
- Automatic safety shut-off
- Compact design with high stability
Compatibility with different injection systems
Compatibility depends on the model and the system. The AUTOOL CT160 supports numerous electronic injection systems of modern vehicles and motorcycles.
Suitable for many vehicle brands such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, VW, Toyota, Honda, Suzuki or Yamaha. Supported systems include multi-point injection as well as various electronic petrol injection systems.
This item is a testing and cleaning device for injectors and not a diagnostic scanner.

Frequently asked questions
Which tests can the CT160 perform?
Which tests can the CT160 perform?
Four: spray pattern, flow rate, tightness and resistance. This lets you assess whether an injector atomises evenly, delivers the right amount, seals tightly and is electrically sound.
Is the device also suitable for motorcycles?
Is the device also suitable for motorcycles?
Yes. In addition to petrol injection systems in cars, motorcycle injection systems are covered; the matching adapters are included.
Do I have to set the mains voltage?
Do I have to set the mains voltage?
No. The device automatically adapts to mains voltages between 110 and 230 volts.
What is the difference between cleaning and testing?
What is the difference between cleaning and testing?
The ultrasonic cleaning removes deposits inside the injector. The subsequent test shows whether the cleaning was enough or the injector is actually faulty. Having both in one device saves the detour via an external test bench.
