Thanks to True RMS technology, the multimeter is suitable both for classic voltage measurements and for the analysis of modern electronic systems.
With functions for DC and AC voltage, current measurement, resistance, frequency, capacitance and temperature, the device covers numerous diagnostic and testing tasks in daily use.
True RMS measurement for modern electronic systems
The HT118A digital multimeter features a True RMS measuring function for the precise recording of alternating voltages. With electronic controllers, power supplies or modern vehicle systems in particular, this technology delivers considerably more accurate values than simple standard multimeters.
This makes the device ideal for diagnosing sensor signals, on-board voltages or electronic components.
Wide measuring range for versatile applications
The multimeter supports numerous measuring functions for professional diagnostic work:
- DC and AC voltage measurement up to 1000V
- DC and AC current measurement up to 10A
- Resistance, frequency and capacitance measurement
- Temperature measurement from -40°C to 1000°C
- Continuity test and diode test
- NCV voltage detection
Thanks to the automatic range selection, the device works particularly efficiently and reduces incorrect readings when voltage ranges change.
Large LCD display with backlight
The backlit 6000-count display allows measured values to be shown clearly even in poor lighting conditions. The large display noticeably improves readability, especially when working in the engine compartment or in workshop areas.
Additional functions such as data hold, max/min display and bar graph make it easier to analyse readings during operation.
Suitable for vehicle diagnostics and workshop work
The HT118A digital multimeter is frequently used for electrical diagnostic work in the automotive sector. Typical applications are:
- Testing batteries and charging voltages
- Checking fuses and relays
- Analysing sensor and control signals
- Measuring voltage drops
- Checking cables and plug connections
Precise voltage and resistance measurement is decisive for efficient fault finding, especially on modern vehicles with numerous electronic components.
Rugged build quality for daily use
The housing of the HT118A digital multimeter was developed for regular use in workshops and technical businesses. Integrated fuses additionally protect the device against overload.
The automatic switch-off reduces unnecessary battery consumption and supports long-term use in everyday work.
