OTOFIX D1 Lite – wireless diagnostic and service tablet for independent workshops
The OTOFIX D1 Lite from Autel's second brand OTOFIX brings the functionality of the proven Autel MaxiCheck MX900 at a particularly attractive price – and communicates wirelessly with the vehicle via the included "VCI V1" Bluetooth diagnostic interface. The rugged 7-inch touchscreen tablet is just as suitable as an all-system scanner and service tablet for the ambitious DIY mechanic as it is as a handy second device for the professional workshop. It reads and clears fault codes in all accessible control units, displays live data and freeze frame data, and performs bidirectional active tests as well as special functions in workshop quality.
More than 40 service and maintenance functions
The comprehensive diagnostic and service tablet covers the workshop's daily maintenance work, including:
- SIA reset (service interval display) and oil service reset
- EPB reset (electronic parking brake)
- DPF regeneration (diesel particulate filter)
- SAS calibration (steering angle sensor)
- BMS initialisation (battery registration after battery replacement)
- Throttle body adaptation and injector coding
- IMMO functions (immobiliser & keys)
- Diagnostic-assisted brake bleeding, headlight adjustment, suspension calibration and much more
The availability of the individual special functions depends on the vehicle type and is therefore not given for every model.
Over 100 vehicle brands
The multi-brand diagnostic tool supports, among others, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Bugatti, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Citroën, Cupra, Dacia, Daewoo, Daihatsu, Dodge, DS Automobiles, Ferrari, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar, Jeep, Kia, Lamborghini, Lancia, Land Rover, Lexus, Maserati, Mazda, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Opel, Peugeot, Polestar, Porsche, Renault, Rolls-Royce, Saab, Seat, Škoda, Smart, SsangYong, Subaru, Suzuki, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo – a total of over 100 vehicle brands from Europe, Asia and America. With AutoVIN, the D1 Lite automatically reads the vehicle identification number and identifies the vehicle type, AutoScan checks all existing control units in one pass and QuickErase automatically clears all fault memory entries. The device is also OBD1-compatible (manufacturer-specific adapters may be required).
Important note on vehicle coverage
The statement "over 100 vehicle brands" describes the overall coverage across all supported brands – it does not mean that every brand or model is automatically fully supported. Which vehicles and functions are actually available always depends on the manufacturer, model, model year and control unit. Compatibility lists can be requested directly from the manufacturer (otofixtech.com).
2 years of software updates included
The OTOFIX D1 Lite is delivered including 2 years of software updates. During this period, the device receives free updates that continuously grow the vehicle coverage and add new models on an ongoing basis.
Expandable into a battery test system
Optionally, the D1 Lite can be upgraded with the OTOFIX BT1 Lite battery tester and then also handles professional battery diagnostics.
The menu navigation is multilingual (including German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Swedish, Turkish). English plus one additional language can always be activated – the device ships with German and English as standard.
