The X431 PRO3S+ Elite is LAUNCH’s professional diagnostic tool for independent workshops that need more than a code reader. It reads every control unit in the vehicle – engine, transmission, ABS, airbag, body, comfort electronics and driver assistance – shows fault codes in plain text, live data and freeze-frame values, and drives components directly through bi-directional control.

Topology view – the vehicle network at a glance

Instead of querying each control unit separately, the topology view shows the entire vehicle network as a colour-coded diagram: which control unit sits on which bus, how they are connected and where something does not respond. Modules with issues are highlighted, modules that are not fitted stay grey. On modern vehicles with many bus systems this finds the starting point of a fault much faster.

SmartLink C with J2534 – programming and remote support

The supplied SmartLink C is both a diagnostic interface and a J2534 pass-thru device. It writes original manufacturer software to control units – for example when a blank ECU has to be set up, a software version updated or a module adapted after replacement. It also enables remote diagnostics: a colleague or specialist can connect to the vehicle from another location.

Please note: which programming and coding procedures are actually possible depends on the brand, model, model year and control unit. Original manufacturer software usually requires your own account with the respective vehicle manufacturer. Call us before you buy – we will go through your vehicles together.

Commercial vehicles

In its delivered state the set is designed for 12 V passenger cars; the supplied adapter case contains OBD1 connectors for older cars. The included SmartLink C also handles commercial-vehicle protocols and can be extended to 24 V – that additionally requires the truck software licence (X431 Heavy Truck Module) and the matching truck adapters, which are not part of the delivery. If you work on trucks and buses from the outset, the X431 PRO3S+ SmartLink HD is the better choice – it comes with the commercial-vehicle software and adapter case.

Goods are regularly delivered by shipping to the delivery address provided by the customer. The delivery address provided by the customer during the ordering process is decisive for the transaction. Deviating from this, if PayPal is selected as the payment method, the delivery address stored by the customer with PayPal at the time of payment is decisive.

If delivery to the customer was not possible and the shipping company returns the shipped goods to the seller, the customer bears the costs for the unsuccessful shipment. This does not apply if the customer exercises their right of withdrawal by refusing acceptance, if they are not responsible for the circumstance that led to the impossibility of delivery, or if they were temporarily prevented from accepting, unless the seller announced the service to them a reasonable time in advance.

Shipping costs within the EU are €14.99. For orders over €100, shipping within the entire EU is free.

The delivery time within Germany is usually 1–3 business days.

Worldwide shipping – to countries outside the EU – is also available. The applicable shipping costs are calculated and displayed during checkout depending on the destination country. For deliveries to countries outside the EU, additional customs duties, import taxes or other charges may apply, which are to be borne by the customer.
